A few days ago I posted a story about a video shoot I was privileged to direct out in the boonies. It was truly a memorable experience.
Since then, we’ve spent the rest of the week shooting several other people in their own settings and we’ll continue to do so through late tonight. Each person has a unique story that represents a colorful snapshot into the wonderful diversity of God’s Kingdom.
So far, production has gone extremely well and there are several reasons for that. But, one major factor for great video is having a well planned and creative driving concept. When the concept is solid, everything else flows around it and just seems to fall in place.
You should pay the price to refine your concepts and call timeout if everyone is not on the same page with you.
It’s a tremendously important aspect of video production that will carry your projects through seamless completion and enable your stories to resonate with those who view them. Simple, but true.
